Redefining Civic Engagement
Ordinary people doing extraordinary things for the place they call home.
At Tuskegee CommuniVersity, civic engagement means helping people understand that community change does not begin with one office, one leader, or one institution. It begins with us. We create spaces where youth, families, elders, educators, business owners, and community members can learn together, speak honestly, organize around local needs, and take action.
Through storytelling, local history, service, leadership development, and community research, we help people see themselves as part of the solution. Our goal is to build a stronger Tuskegee by connecting people to knowledge, resources, responsibility, and each other — so that ordinary people can do extraordinary things for the place they call home.
