Join us for Juneteenth in Tuskegee, a community-wide celebration honoring freedom, preserving history, and strengthening the bonds that connect us. This two-day experience brings together residents, families, educators, artists, entrepreneurs, historians, and community leaders to celebrate the rich cultural heritage of Macon County while creating space for learning, storytelling, and collective joy.
Friday: Freedom on the Square
Gather in the heart of downtown Tuskegee for a vibrant day of community celebration featuring live music, local vendors, food trucks, cultural experiences, youth activities, line dancing, community storytelling, and the launch of The Green Book Projek. The day will also feature special presentations, opportunities to connect with local organizations, and reflections on the ongoing journey toward freedom and opportunity.
