Curriculum Details
The program follows a structured path that takes students from theoretical understanding to practical community application. Each phase is designed to build critical thinking and research proficiency.

Foundations & Local History
Students begin by uncovering the economic history of Tuskgegee, understanding how local systems have evolved through archival research and oral histories.

Data Collection & Analysis
Participants gather community-centered data through surveys and interviews, learning to interpret numbers and narratives to identify real economic gaps.

Problem Solving & Presentation
In the final phase, students develop actionable solutions for the community and present their findings to local leaders and partners.
Who Can Participate?
This program is designed for students in grades 9 through 12 who are passionate about their community. Ideal participants are curious, driven, and eager to use data to solve real-world problems right here in Macon County.
Participants are expected to meet weekly in the summer for 6 weeks. This includes hands-on field research, data workshops, and community presentations.
